Class Descriptions
Please note that not all classes are offered at both studio locations.

Adult Classes – Designed for adults of all skill levels, including Ballet, Tap, Hip Hop, Deep Stretch, and Broadway Jazz. Class passes and drop-ins are available. Visit the Adult Classes page for more information.
Acro (Ages 5–7 / 5-9) – A fun mix of tumbling, flexibility, and dance. Dancers learn foundational acro skills like cartwheels, bridges, and back walkovers, combined with creative dance tricks and movement. Builds strength, coordination, and confidence. Follow Level 1 dress code.
Ballet 1 – An introduction to ballet technique focusing on basic positions, posture, and simple choreography. Builds strength and flexibility. Follows the Level 1 Dress Code.
Ballet 2 – Builds upon Ballet 1 with more intricate footwork, barre exercises, and introductory center work. Encourages confidence and poise. Follows the Level 2 Dress Code.
Ballet 3 – Dancers refine technique and expand ballet vocabulary through longer and more challenging combinations. Follows the Level 3 Dress Code.
Ballet 4 – Emphasizes strength, control, and artistry with advanced turns, leaps, and extensions. Follows the Level 4 Dress Code.
Ballet 5 – The most advanced level, focusing on precision, musicality, and performance quality. Follows the Level 5 Dress Code.
Pointe – Prepares dancers for pointe work by developing ankle strength, alignment, and proper technique. Instructor approval required.
Pointe 2 – An advanced pointe class for dancers with strong ballet technique. Focuses on foot strength, balance, and safe execution of pointe work.
*All Cheer and Pom Classes can wear form-fitting athletic attire and are not required to follow any specific dress codes.
Dance Team (Ages 10–13) – Combines cheer technique with pom-style choreography. Focuses on precision, synchronization, jumps, kicks, and performance quality.
Dance Team & Pom (Ages 14 & Up) – A fast-paced class combining pom, jazz, and acro-inspired tricks. Emphasizes strength, precision, teamwork, and dynamic choreography. Dancers can wear all black in any style they like. This means they can mix and match crop tops, shorts, leggings, or leotards; anything as long as it’s all black.
Contemporary 3 – A creative blend of lyrical, modern, and jazz. Dancers explore fluid movement, floor work, and refine jumps, turns, and leaps. Follow level 3 dress code.
Contemporary 4 – An expressive and athletic class focused on emphasizing technique, strength, control, and emotional storytelling through movement. Follow level 3 and up dress code.
Contemporary 5 – An advanced, fast-paced class focused on refined technique, athleticism, strength, control, musicality, and emotional storytelling through movement. Designed for dancers ready to elevate both artistry and performance quality. Follow Level 5 dress code.
Boys Hip Hop – A high-energy class designed specifically for boys, focusing on hip hop fundamentals, rhythm, freestyle movement, confidence, and creativity. Follows the Boys Dress Code.
Hip Hop 1 – A beginner-level class introducing hip hop grooves, isolations, and foundational steps. Focuses on rhythm and self-expression. Follows the Level 1 Dress Code.
Hip Hop 2 – Builds on Hip Hop 1 with more intricate choreography and musicality. Encourages personal style and stage presence. Follows the Level 2 Dress Code.
Hip Hop 3 – A faster-paced class with advanced combinations, footwork, and freestyle elements. Follows the Level 3 Dress Code.
Hip Hop 4/5 – An advanced class incorporating complex choreography, performance skills, and high-energy movement. Dancers can wear all black in any style they like. This means they can mix and match crop tops, shorts, leggings, or leotards; anything as long as it’s all black.
Jazz 1 – An introduction to jazz technique focusing on basic steps, turns, and leaps. Develops flexibility, coordination, and rhythm. Follows the Level 1 Dress Code.
Jazz 2 – Builds on Jazz 1 with isolations and foundational technique. Focuses on confidence and musicality. Follows the Level 2 Dress Code.
Jazz 3 – Introduces a variety of jazz styles, including commercial and contemporary influences. Follows the Level 3 Dress Code.
Jazz 4 – Emphasizes strength, flexibility, precision, and performance quality through complex choreography. Follows the Level 4 Dress Code.
Jazz 5 – The highest level of jazz, featuring professional-level choreography and advanced leaps and turns. Follows the Level 5 Dress Code.
Lyrical 1 – Introduces dancers to lyrical movement through ballet foundations, vocabulary, storytelling, and self-expression. Follows the Level 1 Dress Code.
Lyrical 2 – Blends ballet and jazz techniques with expressive, fluid movement and musical storytelling. Follows the Level 2 Dress Code.
Modern 2 – An introduction to modern dance blending ballet, jazz, and contemporary techniques with creative movement and floor work. Follows the Level 2 Dress Code.
Modern 3 – Explores more intricate modern techniques, improvisation, and expressive movement using gravity and momentum. Follows the Level 3 Dress Code.
Modern 4 – Emphasizes dynamic movement, musicality, and technique through structured exercises and improvisation. Follows the Level 4 Dress Code.
Modern 5 – The most advanced level, pushing dancers to refine artistry and perform powerful, expressive choreography. Follows the Level 5 Dress Code.
Tap 1 – A beginner tap class focusing on basic steps, rhythm patterns, and musicality. Follows the Level 1 Dress Code.
Tap 2 – Expands on Tap 1 with more complex rhythms and footwork. Focuses on clarity and control. Follows the Level 2 Dress Code.
Tap 3/4 – Introduces faster combinations and syncopated rhythms while refining performance quality. Follows the Level 4 Dress Code.
Tap 4/5 – Emphasizes advanced footwork, musicality, and improvisation. Follows the Level 5 Dress Code.
Yoga – Introduces yoga poses, breathing, and relaxation techniques to support focus, motor skills, and emotional well-being. Encourages self-love and compassion through music, games, and guided relaxation. Taught by a certified instructor. Wear comfortable yoga attire.
Mom and Me – A special introductory class for children and caregivers to enjoy together. Focuses on movement, music, coordination, and bonding through playful exercises and props. Walking Required.
Preschool Ballet – A fun, imaginative introduction to ballet using creative movement, basic vocabulary, and props to develop gross motor skills. Follows the Preschool Dress Code.
Ballet Tap Combo Preschool – A playful mix of ballet and tap that builds rhythm, coordination, and musical awareness. Follows the Preschool Dress Code.
Dance & Tumbling – Combines ballet fundamentals with beginner tumbling skills to build strength, flexibility, and coordination. Follows the Preschool Dress Code.
Little Kid Hip Hop Preschool – A high-energy class introducing hip hop basics through playful movement and music. Encourages creativity and confidence. Follows the Preschool Dress Code.
Ballet & Hip Hop Combo – Combines ballet basics with upbeat hip hop movement to build coordination, rhythm, confidence, and creativity.
Lyrical & Jazz Combo (Ages 7–12) – A beautiful blend of emotion and energy. Dancers explore the expressive flow of lyrical and the dynamic power of jazz, building strength, flexibility, and storytelling through choreography.
Ballet Tap Combo Level 1 – A Level 1 combo. This class introduces basic ballet and tap steps in an engaging, age-appropriate format. Follows the Level 1 Dress Code.
Tap & Hip Hop Combo – A lively combination class blending tap and hip-hop fundamentals. Helps dancers build rhythm, coordination, and stage presence. Follows the Preschool Dress Code.
