Aimee Butsch
Aimee is an embodiment practitioner, educator, and artist whose work blends movement, creativity, and education to foster connection, growth, and meaningful embodied experiences.
She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and her Master of Fine Arts in Dance and Embodied Practice from the University of Roehampton in London, England.
Aimee performs with the local professional modern dance company Annex Dance Company, where she continues to explore movement, collaboration, and artistic expression. She is also an adjunct professor at the College of Charleston, where she shares her passion for dance and embodied practice with students.
Lastly, of course, she serves as the Operations Director for Dance Moves of Charleston and Artistic Director of Dance Moves Youth Company, supporting the growth of dancers through inclusive, creative, and community-centered experiences.
